Communications & PR Manager

Monetary Metals (MM) is a disruptive, high-growth gold platform that pays interest to savers, finances qualified businesses, and provides a liquid marketplace for gold leases and bonds. 

We are seeking a thoughtful, execution-oriented Communications & PR Manager to own the messaging, voice, and delivery of Monetary Metals’ external communications. This role is responsible for ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment across email, PR, social, thought leadership, and client-facing communications. The ideal candidate exercises strong editorial judgment, collaborates well cross-functionally, and is motivated to grow into broader leadership responsibility as the organization scales. 

 Responsibilities 

Communications & Audience Engagement 

  • Own execution and performance of external communications across email, PR, and social channels 
  • Craft and send newsletters, announcements, new deal notifications, and client-facing communications 
  • Ensure messaging is clear, accurate, and consistent with brand voice, positioning, and narrative 
  • Maintain high editorial standards across all communications 
  • Monitor and optimize engagement performance, including open rates, CTR, segmentation health, and audience alignment 
  • Use performance insights to refine messaging clarity, effectiveness, and efficiency 
  • Partner with Engagement Strategy on content inputs for automated communications 

 Reports, White Papers & Thought Leadership 

  • Own drafting, development, and messaging alignment for reports, white papers, case studies, and other long-form thought leadership materials 
  • Partner with executive leadership, subject matter experts, and Marketing Operations to shape structure, narrative, and positioning 
  • Ensure research materials are clear, compelling, and aligned with brand voice and strategic objectives 
  • Coordinate dissemination strategy across email, website, PR, and partner channels 

 Executive & Sales Presentations 

  • Draft and refine pitch decks, company presentations, and external-facing PowerPoint materials as needed 
  • Ensure presentations align with approved messaging, positioning, and brand standards 
  • Partner with Sales, Business Development, and executive leadership to ensure clarity and strategic alignment 

 PR & Media 

  • Support PR and media communications, including drafting, coordination, and follow-up 
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact with external PR firms 
  • Coordinate messaging, priorities, and timelines with PR partners 
  • Support reactive and sensitive communications under guidance from Marketing leadership 
  • All PR strategies and materials are subject to review and approval by Marketing leadership and executive stakeholders 

 Social Media 

  • Execute social media communications in alignment with approved messaging and priorities 
  • Leverage content inputs and drafting support from Marketing Operations and Creative 
  • Coordinate posting schedules and reactive communications in partnership with Marketing Operations and Creative 
  • Ensure social content reflects the approved communications narrative and supporting content inputs 

 Partner Communications & Events 

  • Own communications planning and messaging for partner-hosted webinars, conferences, and other digital events, including shareholder communications and meetings 
  • Liaise directly with Business Development on partner-led events and conference participation 
  • Support messaging, positioning, and coordination for partner and event-related communications 
  • Ensure all partner and event communications align with brand voice, audience expectations, and approved narrative 
  • Coordinate timelines and messaging inputs across Communications, Business Development, and Marketing leadership 

 Competencies 

  • 5+ years of experience in communications, content marketing, or demand generation 
  • 2+ years of experience with Pardot 
  • 3+ years of experience with Salesforce 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Strong editorial judgement and attention to detail
  • Experience developing long-form research, thought leadership, or executive-facing materials 
  • Experience working with PR agencies or media partners 
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to bring structure and clarity to complex initiatives
  • Comfortable collaborating effectively in asynchronous, remote, fast-paced environments and working cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Business Development, and technical stakeholders 
  • Highly organized and capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines independently 
  • Strong data analysis and reporting skills, including GA4 experience
  • Working knowledge of WordPress, SEO/SEM, and modern website marketing best practices 
  • Experience with graphic design tools such as Canva and collaborating with creative resources

With demonstrated success in messaging ownership, PR coordination, thought leadership development, and audience engagement, the Communications & PR Manager is expected to grow into expanded leadership responsibility over time, including broader ownership of communications strategy and external narrative, together with direction and input from senior executive management and outside PR consultants and advisors.
